Guests lucky enough to attend this event were transported into a magical garden paradise. Welcomed by fairies and led down the path to the Prime Minister’s lawns, guests enjoyed breath-taking views of the bay, beneath beautiful white hanging flowers, while sipping champagne, eating delicious canapés, and listening to the ever amusing Corinne Grant’s commentary, who entertained guests as MC for the event. Not only this, but guests had the opportunity to bid on an array of exclusive and sought after auction items, in both a live and silent auction, including items from Sir Paul McCartney, cricketer Nathan Bracken, and the lovely Kerri-Anne.

The garden party received a great deal of support from the public, from sponsors, and from the Foundation’s celebrity Patrons, including Kamahl and newsreader Natarsha Belling, along with other high-profile personalities, including the famous psychic Lisa Williams and the Today Show’s Richard Wilkins and Cameron Williams.

The event was a great success and raised vital funds that will go directly towards strengthening the Foundations support services for families who have lost a baby through miscarriage or stillbirth.

The Prime Minister  donated his residence Kirribilli House to the Bonnie Babes Foundation to conduct a Garden Party on Sunday 22nd March 2009 to raise vitally needed funds and awareness to support our important community services. The Bonnie Babes Foundation helps save babies lives through our vital medical research and medical equipment for prematurely born babies in intensive care units in hospitals. The Bonnie Babes Foundation also supports families after the loss of a baby with 24 hour, 7 days per week free grief counselling.
